LIBANG was founded in 1996 by returnee of oversea Chinese students. LIBANG mainly engages in research, development, production, and sales of formulation products and APIs. Up to now, LIBANG owns four manufacturing facilities and one overseas R&D laboratory located in Canada to develop generic drug process. LIBANG Xian Formulation Plant is located in the Xian Hi-Tech Zone. It is a huge investment by LIBANG in 2000. In 2002, the facilities passed SFDA inspection and obtained the national GMP certificates. There are three Small Volume Parenterals production lines: two for ampoules, one for vials.
