The State Enterprise "Generator" was established in 1959 and was initially a division of the Ministry of Electronic Industry of the USSR. The main scope of operation of the said division was manufacture of electric vacuum and semiconductor devices of the UHF waveband designated for operation as part of various radars, onboard equipment of aircraft and marine vessels, surface-to-air missile systems, communicational equipment, and measurement instruments of the UHF range. Nowadays, SE "Generator" is one of the most promising instrument-making enterprises of the national mechanical engineering industry and is structurally subordinate to the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine. At the times of the transition to a wider manufacture of consumer products, the Company started manufacturing a number of new products grouped in 3 core business lines: - Microwave technologies and equipment for agricultural sector and food industry - Electric vacuum equipment for power transmission (vacuum circuit breakers, vacuum arc-extinguishing chambers, etc) - Diaphragm utility-type gas meters under OKTAVA brand The 50-year experience in the industry and outstanding in-house quaity control system result in the high quality of our products.
