Jeongeup Pear Cooperative Corporation is located in the mountainous area in the southwestern Jeollabuk-dong, which is a calm and clean center of Honam region dotted with beautiful Naejang Mountain, Ikjeong Lake, upper Dongjin River, etc.

Having been established in Jeongeup (Taein) in February 1995, the corporation has finished constructing its foundation in over 10 years, is seeking to advance toward not only domestic but also world markets in the drastically changing environment of the 21st century under the banner of the second commencement, and actively promoting to export pears to various countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Also, its site was governmentally designated as the complex for golden pear export to Canada in April 1998, as agricultural product of world's quality format same as ISO9001 in 2004, as "excellent" production complex specialized in gardening in 2005, and as a fruit selection yard specializing in pear export in Jellabuk-do, at which a 32-step newest nondestructive saccharometer is installed.

Especially located near the Taein IC of Honam Expressway and at the national highway, the site is playing a role of pear export complex which has the shortest distance to the export port, as a large-scale logistics base(low-temperature warehouse, cargo collection yard, fruit selection yard, logistics loading and unloading docks).
