NAVECO., as a Sino-Italian joint venture established by Nanjing Motor Group Company and IVECO S.P.A, is the biggest cooperation projects between China and Italy . It was founded on 1st March, 1996 with total assets of RMB 6 billion, total investment of RMB 3.7 billion and a registered capital of 2.527 billion. Both side of the joint venture owns 50% of the share. Since 26th Dec.2007, NAVECO have cooperatesd with SAIC (Shanghai Automobile Industry Corporation--The largest auto group in China.). The company consists of 11 divisions, 11 plants, more than 6, 500 employees, covering total area of 664, 000m2 and a building area of 300, 000 m2 The annual production is 80, 000 IVECO light vehicles and 70, 000 IVECO-Yuejin light vehicles and 75, 000 SOFIM engines.
